Ideal for voiceover artists, audiobook recording, and content creation, the Audiosigma MikeHero is a compact and portable audio interface featuring a single XLR mic input and a selector switch for optimal compatibility with virtually every mic type?from quiet dynamics, to sensitive and power hungry condensers, to shotgun mics. With the ability to be powered entirely by smart devices, this interface is truly an on-the-go recording device.
Even when powered by smart devices like iPhones and Android smartphones, the MikeHero can deliver steady 48V phantom power for active microphones. Controls include mic gain, headphone volume, and mute button, as well as special switches for EQ settings and an 80 or 120 Hz high-pass filter for taming plosives. Along with the mic input, the MikeHero sports 3.5mm connections for the aux input, mic output, and two headphone outputs, as well as an optional DC input (which is rarely needed when bus power is available via the USB-C port).
