High-Performance Wi-Fi
Powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor with four external antennas, the RT-AX57 is designed to transfer up to 2402 Mb/s on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz frequency. OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies help to provide reliable and efficient connections with compatible wireless devices.
BSS Coloring
Wi-Fi 6 includes a feature called BSS Coloring that improves Wi-Fi connection efficiency with compatible devices even in crowded environments. When two neighboring routers send traffic on the same channel, your router has to wait until the channel is free. With BSS Coloring, your Wi-Fi 6 router identifies its data with a unique channel tag, or "color," that's different from neighboring networks. Your Wi-Fi 6 router can then ignore other-colored signals on the channel and send data immediately. This can greatly reduce router waiting times and boost network efficiency.
Wired Connections
Four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports are available for wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, and video game consoles. Your broadband modem connects to the Gigabit WAN port.
