ASUS PRIME B840-PLUS WIFI-CSM Overview
Designed to provide stable and reliable performance, the ASUS PRIME B840-PLUS WIFI-CSM ATX Motherboard may be outfitted AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series desktop processors with the AM5 socket to deliver smooth performance for demanding applications and AI workloads.
Install up to three M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSDs alongside one PCIe 3.0 and four SATA III drives, providing you with plenty of space to store your applications and important project files. The four DDR5 DIMM slots support up to 256GB of 7600 MT/s overclocked ECC memory. You can install a powerful graphics cards into the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot while reserving the PCIe 3.0 x16 (x4 mode) and two PCIe 3.0 x16 (x1 mode) slots for other compatible expansions.
The rear panel features a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port alongside a USB-C port that can transfer up to 10 Gb/s with compatible devices. There are also two 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports available. You can use the four USB-A 2.0 ports for keyboards, mice, and other peripherals.
