Ashton Bentley 900-00450 Overview
The Ashton Bentley UX BYOM Smart Switch is a versatile USB hub designed to switch hosts between connected computers and manage USB peripherals in meeting rooms. Featuring two USB-B host ports for PCs and laptops and three USB-A device ports, it supports video bars, cameras, and speaker bars with reliable connectivity. Integrated 5V dynamic power management prevents device lock-ups by resetting power during host switching.
When operated in standalone mode, the hub offers automatic switching and is powered by a separately available 24V power supply. In control mode, the hub is connected to a DX2 Room Hub and/or a TX2 Table Hub and transmits signals and receives power via the included Cat 6 cable that plugs into its ABNET RJ45 port. Its compact design makes it easy to install under tables or in lecterns, and its simple and effective BYOD (bring your own device) functionality makes it an optimal tool for modern collaboration spaces.
