Ashton Bentley DX2 Room Hub Overview
The Ashton Bentley DX2 Room Hub serves as the central control system and signal routing solution for meeting rooms when paired with the separately available TX2 Table Hub. The simplified, two-box AV infrastructure supports uncompressed 4K60 4:4:4 8-bit video and sports two signal-sensing HDMI inputs and two independently scalable HDMI outputs, providing flexible content routing for both local and remote presentations.
With independent EDID management for every input, an embedded Teams and Zoom engine, and support for BYOD (bring your own device) mode, the DX2 ensures compatibility with various displays and video conferencing devices. It also features three USB-A device ports, with two offering configurable power control and three RJ45 ports for Ethernet connectivity and device management. One RJ45 port is dedicated to powering and communicating with the TX2 via a Cat 6a or Cat 7 cable. Additional control ports include one USB-B port, two 3.5mm jacks for AB displays, and one 9-pin D-Sub connector for serial control. Powered by the included 24 VDC adapter, the DX2 provides versatile, streamlined AV management for professional meeting environments.
