ARRI Handle Extension Set for ALEXA 35 Overview
Designed to expand the ARRI Camera Center Handle CCH-4 for use with the ALEXA 35, this Handle Extension Set from ARRI allows the creation of customized handle designs for ergonomic camera operation. The set includes six straight HEX handle extenders of different lengths (HEX-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and A), a right-angle HEX-90 extender, and a wooden shell for ideal rig optimization.
Each HEX extender sports an ARRI anti-twist 3/8"-16 screw at the front and a corresponding thread interface at the back, as well as multiple 3/8"-16, 1/4"-20, and 5/32" accessory mounting threads. Providing highly flexible configuration options, the set can be used to build a Hollywood-style handle, allowing operation from the rear of the camera without touching the on-board battery.
