Description
Archival Methods 330-1418 Overview
This 50-pack of archival Card Stock from Archival Methods is suitable for use as album pages for mounting photographs, acid-free archival backing in picture frames, stiffening and support for bags, sleeves, and 3-ring binder pages. The pages can be written on to add titles or other information. This card stock is made from 141.89 lb (210 gsm) paper, providing a stiff surface that is designed to last without becoming brown or brittle as it ages.
Made of alpha-cellulose pulp from purified wood fiber that has been buffered with calcium carbonate at a 2-3% alkaline reserve, alkaline sizing is used for both internal and external sizing. Absolutely no alum is used in the manufacturing process. Acid-free, the card stock has its lignin content tested by TAPPI 236 cm-85 and has a Kappa number of less than five. The card stock passes the PAT (Photographic Activity Test) ISO IT 18916 (formerly ISO 14523 ANSI IT9.16).
