Archival Methods 48-8222 Overview
The 22 x 28" Archival Mat and Presentation Kit for 17 x 22" Print from Archival Methods is used for presentation, exhibition, or just to preserve your prints, photographs, or documents. The kit consists of a 4-ply, bright white museum board, which is made of 100% cotton with a 1/8" thick acid-free foam backing board. The archival museum board has a centered, 16 x 21" bevel-cut window that can be hung in a vertical or horizontal orientation. In addition, the kit includes mounting corners to mount your photograph to the foam board and Tyvek tape to hinge both boards together. Once everything has been assembled, you can carefully place your mounted photograph inside the crystal-clear bag with an adhesive closure.

Good quality
Clean, sturdy mat board. Exactly what I was expecting -- fit my frame well.
Not As Good As They Used to Be
Ive been buying Archival Methods products for many years. They used to be high quality items. The backing board was creased on one side in several places -- not a shipping problem -- a manufacturing problem. Luckily the other side had a crease in an area that would not affect the photo. The edges of the matt and backing board did not match up. The edges all around the boards were infested with shards of paper that littered my worktable, or needed to be carefully removed. It was as if the boards were cut with a dull blade. Time was of importance, so I got by with these without returning.
