The Appsys FLX-RAVENNA/SRC Converter is a compact, high-performance solution designed to bridge RAVENNA networks with virtually any audio protocol?while maintaining exceptional audio integrity across clock domains. Featuring dual RAVENNA ports with built-in ST2110 and AES67 support, along with a powerful 64x64-channel sample rate converter, it enables seamless integration between complex systems in broadcast, live sound, and studio environments. Whether used for format conversion, system expansion, or clock-domain isolation, the FLX-RAVENNA/SRC delivers precision, flexibility, and reliability in demanding workflows.

RAVENNA to Anything, with SRC Built In

At the heart of the FLX-RAVENNA/SRC is a 64x64-channel bidirectional sample rate converter with outstanding performance, delivering >120 dB THD+N and >134 dB dynamic range. This allows for transparent conversion between different clock domains, and the SRC can be bypassed when not required. Supporting sample rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz on either side, the unit can handle complex scenarios such as 96 kHz MADI to 48 kHz Dante conversion with full 64-channel capacity in each direction.

Flexible Conversion via AUX Expansion

The integrated AUX slot enables the FLX-RAVENNA/SRC to interface with a wide range of protocols using optional AUX cards. When paired with the AUX-RAVENNA card, the unit functions as a RAVENNA-to-RAVENNA bridge with complete network and clock domain separation. Additional formats, such as Dante, can be supported with the appropriate AUX module, making the system highly adaptable to evolving infrastructure needs.

Proven RAVENNA Performance

Built on the trusted Merging/Sennheiser ZMAN module, the FLX-RAVENNA/SRC ensures stable, high-quality RAVENNA performance with support for both ST2110 and AES67 standards. Dual Ethercon-connected RAVENNA ports provide robust network connectivity for professional environments.

Scalable System Integration

For larger systems, the FlexLink port enables ultralow-latency, bidirectional transfer of up to 192 channels of audio, along with clock and power. This makes the FLX-RAVENNA/SRC an ideal expansion unit for the MVR-mkII or other Flexiverter systems. When connected to the MVR-mkII, it also enables true channel-wise routing across all available channels, including those from installed AUX cards.

Remote Control and Rock-Solid Reliability

Remote operation is simple via USB using a browser-based interface?no software installation required?or through UART command line for advanced control. A triple-redundant power supply ensures dependable operation in mission-critical applications, providing maximum uptime for live and broadcast use.
