B&H has put together this Angler Shadow Focus Spot 300 4-Light Kit with Green Screen for image makers who require a flexible studio system with the ability to drop in their own background. The kit includes four Shadow Focus Spot 300 tungsten lamp heads with 4-way barndoors and a 9.5' heavy-duty, air-cushioned light stand. For this studio setup, a 12' wide Background Support System is included along with a 10x24' chroma key green background for dropping in your own background in post-production. For softening the quality of light, two white translucent 33" umbrellas are included, as are two 16x22" Silverbox Quartz Softboxes with speed rings.

  The Angler Shadow Focus Spot 300 Focusing Flood Light is a 300W focusable fixture with a wide-angle 21-40° beam angle that's variable with a simple knob. The safety-glass-protected, separately purchased lamp has a color temperature of approximately 3100K with an average lamp life of 100 hours. Four-way barndoors are included to put the light where you want it and keep it off of areas that you don't. Convenience features include a cool-touch handle for safe tilting adjustments and a 12.5' power cable with an in-line switch and a grounded 3-prong US/North American plug.

  This Impact Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stand is a black anodized aluminum support that rises to a height of 9.5' and folds down to 42" for storage and transport. The stand will handle up to 22 lb and is topped with a removable 5/8" spigot with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads. It has a wide footprint of 52" for greater stability. Air cushioning gently lowers the light when making height adjustments to protect equipment and fingers.

  Umbrellas soften, broaden, and diminish the light output of any flash light source. Umbrellas with a white interior will soften and weaken light more than an umbrella with a silver lining. A white umbrella without a black backing may also be used as a makeshift softbox, although the use of the light will not be as efficient as with a lightbox.

  Choosing umbrella size is determined by the size of the subject, and the strength of the light supply being used. Choosing an umbrella surface is as subjective as choosing a paint and brush.

  The 16x22" Angler 7262-S-18 Silverbox Quartz Softbox is a highly versatile light-shaping tool designed for use with strobes, LEDs, fluorescent lights and hot lights up to 300W.

  This small softbox allows photographers to place it where larger softboxes can't go. It's ideal for tabletop and small product work especially with reflective objects that demand a rectilinear reflection. This size and weight softbox is also a good choice for overhead mounting on a boom for use as a hair light or background light.

  The Silverbox has a textured silver interior for maximum output and heat resistance. It also has an additional control; it accepts an optional fabric grid which mounts to the recessed lip of the softbox with touch-fasteners. The grid gives more directional control of the light source by narrowing the beam so the light goes only where you want it to. • Impact Background Support System - 12' Wide

  The Impact 12' Background Support System will support seamless paper up to 11' in width, as well as accommodate the 12' width of any brand of muslin background. Total weight distributed across the length of the crossbar should not exceed 20 lb.

  The system consists of 2 heavy-duty professional support stands with 3 positive locking knobs and tubular legs, a sturdy 4 piece crossbar that snaps together with positive button locking devices, and a heavy-duty canvas carry bag.

  It is suggested to secure the stands with gaffer tape, or weight bags when using any background setup where there are several people, or active children on the set.

  The Speed Ring for the Angler Shadow Focus Spot from Angler features indexed flex rod holes that allow you to effortlessly mount any square, rectangular, strip, or octagonal Luxbanx softbox to Impact, Bowens S, Westcott, and Aputure heads. The ring will also fit most other brands of softbox. The sturdy all-metal ring rotates 360 degrees to facilitate orientation or to clear obstacles in tight quarters.
