Ideal for portrait, product, fashion photography, and more, the redesigned Angler Quick-Open Deep Parabolic V2 Softbox measures 26" and features integrated locking rods that quickly lift and snap into place so you're ready to shoot in a fraction of the time it takes to set up a conventional softbox. The softbox has an improved release mechanism that employs easy-to-push levers to close the softbox easily in seconds. While the 16-sided shape of the softbox imparts a wraparound light quality, its depth gives it a somewhat sharp falloff that makes feathering and directional control easy. For further directional control, an optional fabric grid is available to narrow the beam and minimize light spill. Other handy features include a silver interior to maximize output for a dramatic and punchy light, and removable front and inner diffusers, so you can regulate the softness and contrast that's perfect for your exposure. The softbox comes with a 144mm Bowens-type speed ring.
BoomBox 130mm speed ring inserts that are compatible with Profoto, Elinchrom, and Broncolor lights are available separately. 144mm BoomBox adapter rings are not compatible with this product.

Angler Quick-Open Reviews
Excellent value.
As the name suggests, it opens up quick. Took only a few minutes to put together, and only took a few minutes to take apart. I used it with a Nanlight FS-150 spot light as the key light for an interview. Worked great. Provided a nice soft, even light. It's shape also makes for a very nice eye light. It has two diffusers, the interior one attaches with snaps, and the exterior one is attached via velcro. The build quality seems pretty good for the price, and since I treat my equipment with care, it should last me a long time. Also, it fits easily back into the bag that came with it. I did get a grid with it, but have yet to use it. Looking forward to using it more.

Great softbox
East to assemble and disassemble. Creates a nice soft light. I've used it only with both diffusers in place without a grid. In a quick moving shooting environment it is easy to collapse while leaving diffusers in place and then set up quickly at next location. This is my first Bowens mount modifier and I like it.
Budget Softbox - Great Results
This was the first softbox I've bought for video work and it is spectacular. Super easy to setup. Diffusion material is cheap feeling but works all the same. The softbox has two diffusion layers which can be removed. With both layers of diffusion, you lose about two stops of light output so you'll need a nice bright light to get enough total light output.

Good 48 inch soft box
Good sturdy 48 inch soft box . Good construction and easy to open (about 4 to 5 min. Nice diffuser fabric, but slightly on the bleu side.
