Product Overview
The MAX4622CPE+ is a dual, low voltage, single supply, precision, 5ohm high-speed analogue switch in 16 pin PDIP package. The single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) MAX4622 has two normally closed (NC) and two NO poles. It offers low 5ohm on-resistance to match to within 0.5ohm between channels and to remain flat over the full analogue signal range (0.5ohm max). It also offers low leakage (<lt/>500pA at +25°C, <lt/>5nA at +85°C) and fast switching times (turn-on time <lt/>250ns, turn-off time <lt/>200ns). This analogue switch is ideal in low-distortion applications and is the preferred solution over mechanical relays in automatic test equipment or applications where current switching is required. It has low power requirements, use less board space and are more reliable than mechanical relays. Typical applications include reed relay replacement, military radios, test equipment PBX, PABX systems, communication systems, audio-signal routing and data-acquisition systems.
