Add a programmable network appliance to your government, education, or enterprise network for control over all your devices with the NX-1200 NetLinx NX Integrated Controller from AMX. This compact unit provides a secure connection to a network to control and monitor an A/V system, HVAC, power, security, and other physical devices via various communication formats, connection types, and remote applications.
IPv6
The NX-1200 supports IPv6, the communications protocol that provides an identification and location system for computers on networks and routes traffic across the internet.
IEEE 802.1X
The IEEE 802.1X standard for port-based network access control is supported, with the ability to grant or deny network access to devices wishing to attach to a LAN based on credentials tied to the device rather than to a user.
X.509 Certificate Services
Customer-provided certificates are supported for access to protected networks.
Full LDAP Integration
There is support for multiple user-defined login groups for accessing the master, and it provides an AMX programmer the capability to require network login to access certain areas of the touch panel.
