AMX CE-IRS4 Overview
Extend IP signals to IR or serially controlled devices with this CE-IRS4 Universal Control Extender from AMX. The CE-IRS4 easily integrates into pre-existing IP systems. Its web user-interface offers intuitive configuration, while its open-control API ensures compatibility with third-party control systems and applications. Accepting control signals and Power-over-Ethernet via its RJ45 port, the extender sports an eight-pin terminal block connector with four IR/serial control output ports.
Native HControl enables the extender to be automatically discovered and integrate seamlessly with AMX control processors and other HARMAN professional devices. Featuring a concealable, compact design, the extender provides a secure solution for interfacing with IR or serially controlled devices and extending the reach of control processors well beyond the limits inherent in point-to-point connections.
