At the core of the Amp400.12 is a highly advanced Class-D platform that provides fast, controlled, low-distortion power with rock-solid grip. To achieve the required sonic character and performance, Amphion integrates a proprietary, in-house designed buffer stage that complements the strengths of the latest Class-D technology. This buffer stage improves impedance characteristics and cohesion between channels, allowing speed, control, neutrality, and ultralow distortion to translate into a highly resolving and emotionally involving listening experience.

For Immersive, Multichannel, and Stereo Applications

Though developed with immersive audio applications in mind, the Amp400.12 is equally suited for a wide range of multichannel and stereo configurations. It drives both 4-ohm and 8-ohm loads with ease and partners seamlessly with all Amphion models, while also delivering excellent results with a broad range of passive speakers.
