Lot less than the 5800X and almost as fast
This is an awesome CPU for the $ when compared to the 5800X as the performance is very close and the price about 30% less.
Nice and fast
Very close to it's more expensive brother, the 5800x with two more cores than the 5600x for better multitasking. Maxes out at 57C with a Noctua NH-D15. Couldn't ask for more.
Excellent CPU but no included CPU cooler
Upgraded from Ryzen 5600x as I needed more multi-thread performance (not gaming). Runs cool for an 8 core CPU. Performance on Cinebench R20 improved 32%
Great Product, Great Price
The price on this processor was better than Microcenter (including shipping, to my state, and bribery for relative to pick it up). It's a slightly noticeable update from my 3700X, from which I upgraded. Thank, Asus for updating the BIOS for my Prime 370X Pro board so I didn't have to stop my Ryzen journey short. Thank , for the fast, free, shipping and charging me my local state tax. Now if we could only get to match the promo with Microcenter on the Ryzen 7000X series I'd snap it up today. However, hope springs eternal.
Great upgrade for an aging AM4 system.
I Got this to upgrade from an R5 2600x, its a sizeable performance jump in gaming and video editing. Works in my Asrock B450 Pro4 with a bios update.
