Ambient Recording ACN-LB LockitBT Compact Wireless Timecode Synchronizer with Bluetooth Interface

The Ambient Recording ACN-LB LockitBT is a wireless timecode and sync generator that works to synchronize your camera and audio equipment. Capable of generating timecode from 23.976 to 60 fps at 1080i or 1080p resolutions and word clock up to 192 kHz, the ACN-LB LockitBT provides the functionality of multiple devices in a single, compact, aluminum body. One-button syncing, dual LEMO 5-pin outputs, and 2.4 GHz wireless communication with other devices in the Lockit series make it easy to link up multiple cameras and digital audio recorders. The LockitBT can be powered via an NP-50 lithium-ion battery for up to 14 hours at a time and also supports charging or external power via USB-C. The USB-C port doubles as a data point for MIDI connections.

Zero Drift

The Ambiant Communication Network (ACN) connects all Lockit boxes present on set via a proprietary wireless network. When C-Jam (Continuous Jam) mode is activated, all Lockit devices are constantly synced up. This achieves zero drift throughout an entire day of shooting.

Bluetooth Interface

The LockitBT features a Bluetooth wireless interface that allows for remote control via the LockitRemote smartphone app. Timecode information can be transmitted to compatible devices from third-party manufacturers. The app itself can adjust all settings for the device directly from your smartphone. Control the LockitBT menu and start the C-Jam Master. ACN Radar monitors and controls all Lockit devices on the same ACN channel, even if they are not Bluetooth enabled.

One-Button Syncing

Press the green button for three seconds to activate the ACN and sync all of the timecode and frame rate settings of your connected Lockit devices. This initial sync preserves your frame accuracy for the entire shoot day.

The LockitBT can also be set up using the haptic OLED menu.

Multiple Power Options

The LockitBT can be powered using a single NP-50 battery up to 750mAh for 14 hours at a time. You can charge the connected battery using the USB-C port or forgo the battery entirely and power the unit via an external power source.

All Sync Formats

The LockitBT supports 1080p and 1080i genlock for 23.976 to 60 fps frame rates. Audio recorders are covered with word clock up to 192 kHz.

Outputs

Two industry-standard LEMO 5-pin ports allow you to sync two cameras in parallel or jam via cable while leaving the synced unit connected. The primary output carries timecode and genlock/word clock. You can then choose to run it via a straight cable, Y-split cable, or via two separate leads via a second connector with ACN support for metadata transfer.

MIDI Timecode

MIDI timecode is supported via USB-C interface to feed timecode to even more compatible sources.
