Alpine Astronomical M48/40 Overview
The 40mm Baader M48 Extension Tube from Alpine Astronomical is used to adjust the working distance of larger cameras and accessories with an M48 thread. The telescope side features M48 internal threading and a 3.5mm depth. The eyepiece/camera side has M48 external threading and a 3mm depth. The optical path length is 40mm.
It can also be used as an M48 / 2" nosepiece with a 36mm insertion depth, safety kerfs, and 5mm optical height.
