Use the Alpine Astronomical Baader 685nm IR-Pass Filter to enhance the views and images of planets. Utilizing IR Phantom-Group optical multi-coatings, the filter only allows the narrow long deep red 685nm wavelength to pass through to your eye, minimizing the appearance of atmospheric turbulence during planetary viewing and imaging sessions. Views through the filter reveal dark structures on Mars, Jupiter, and the Moon with enhanced contrast. The filter is set in a 1.25" mount threaded to fit standard eyepieces.
