Description
Alpine Astronomical BDS-RDCR Overview
Designed for the Newtonian model of their NT Steeltrack focuser, the Alpine Astronomical Baader 2-to-1.25" Reducer allows you to use the smaller and more common 1.25" size eyepieces and accessories in the focuser's larger 2" holder. This conventional holder has an easy-to-use thumbscrew that tightens against a brass compression ring so it won't mark or mar the eyepiece's nosepiece. The reducer has a short 4.5mm optical height to minimize its effect on the back-focus distance, and has internal threads for installing 2" eyepiece filters.
