8Sinn 8-PS5 C Overview
Offering formfitting protection against the rigors of production while providing multiple accessory mounting points for your full-frame camera is the purpose of the 8SINN Cage for Panasonic S5. Your camera mounts onto this cage with a 1/4" hole, and the raised tabs at the front prevent it from twisting. The cage allows access to the camera's controls and hot shoe, and the base features a multitude of 1/4"-20 mounting holes, as well as a single 3/8"-16.
In addition to the multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes distributed along the sides and top of the cage, the cage also sports a 3/8"-16 threaded hole with ARRI-style anti-twist divots on its top. Slots allow you to attach a camera strap, and you can use the included 2.5mm screw to secure your camera to the cage via your camera's eyelets and help prevent it from shifting. Threaded M4 mounting holes in front of the cage enable mounting optional accessories.
