Zacuto ACT Recoil Rig for RED KOMODO Camera

The Cage for RED KOMODO from Zacuto cradles your KOMODO camera while providing a variety of accessory mounting options. This dedicated, modular cage includes a top plate with a NATO-compatible Z-Rail and a bottom plate with an Arca-Swiss style wedge plate. It provides multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist mounts, a 1/4"-20 thread for a lens adapter support, and two ARRI-style rosettes for attaching handgrips or other components. Use the complete cage for four-sided protection or attach pieces individually as needed for your camera configuration.

This made-in-the-USA aluminum cage includes a top plate, a bottom plate, two side rails, and mounting screws. Access to controls and ports is maintained when the cage is mounted on your camera.

Mount your DSLR or mirrorless camera such as a Panasonic GH5 Mark II and additional accessories such as a matte box, follow focus, or extension arms using the ACT Baseplate from Zacuto. The baseplate features a built-in shoulder pad, an Arca-type mounting plate, a quick release Arca-type camera plate, 15mm rod ports on the front and back, two 15mm rods, and stylish red locking levers all around.

The 15mm rods can be installed in the front or back of the plate, and they are secured with a quick release design. The Arca-type bottom plate can be mounted onto the ACT Mounting Plate or other Arca-compatible mounts. The red Arca-type camera plate features quick release functionality, pads to prevent twisting or slipping, and it's inset into the baseplate for a low-profile design. Scale markings along the top assist with balancing.

Add a versatile handle to your camera rig or cage with the Tactical Handle from Zacuto, which features a slim, adjustable design that allows you to use it as a top handle or side handgrip. It features a built-in Z-Rail/NATO-type rail on top, a shoe mount, and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads that enable you to mount a variety of accessories. Its grip features finger grooves and is lined with wood for a smooth, comfortable feel.

The Tactical Handle mounts onto any Z-Rail/NATO rail, and the Z-Rail jaw clamp can be twisted and oriented in multiple ways to work on horizontal or vertical Z-Rails. The spring-loaded locking lever enables tightening or loosening of the joint, so it can be reconfigured as a top or side handle. The handle is suitable for use with small cameras such as the Panasonic GH5 Mark II.

Compatibility

Attach a rosette-mounted EVF to your camera or rig with the Axis Micro from Zacuto. This adjustable mounting arm, slightly more compact than its big sister the Axis Mini, is designed to attach to the top of your camera setup using its micro 15mm rod to provide you with ample room for adjusting focus or working with large lenses. It attaches directly to rigs fitted with a 15mm rod port and mounts EVFs, such as the ACT EVF Pro or Gratical HD, using its secure 1/4"-20 rosette.

The Right-Hand Wood Trigger Grip from Zacuto is a highly adjustable wooden grip that mounts onto a 15mm rod and provides right-handed support for your camera cage or rig. It enables full 360° rotation with the press of a button trigger.

The micro-OLED Kameleon Pro EVF from Zacuto updates the original Kameleon with both waveform and vectorscope functions and a new display interface. Designed to carry you through all of your rig upgrades, the Kameleon Pro is compatible with DSLRs, mirrorless, and cine-style cameras. Co-designed with JTZ, this 1920 x 1080 resolution EVF supports up to DCI 4K input via HDMI and up to 1080p60 via SDI (BNC).

The Kameleon Pro EVF features a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 3D LUT support, joystick control, 4-pin LEMO power input, and four user-assignable buttons. Use the built-in S-Log2, S-Log3, C-Log, and V-Log presets, or import your preferred 3D LUT via the USB Type-C input port. Imaging tools include histogram, red peaking, three levels of edge enhancement peaking, false color, anamorphic de-squeezing, and SMPTE color bars. An auto-closing rubber eyecup helps prevent burn-in, and Zacuto's patented anti-fog technology keeps your view clear in humid or cold environments. The Kameleon Pro EVF's built-in -1 to +4 diopter enables you to get a comfortable view without your eyeglasses, and for greater vision correction, four stronger diopters are available separately.

Additional Kameleon Pro EVF features include both 1:1 and 4:1 zoom ratios, selectable frame lines, freeze frame, a cooling fan, and audio meters. Two ARRI-compatible rosettes with 1/4"-20 threading enable you to mount the Kameleon Pro with either side up as you prefer.

Designed for the Kameleon electronic viewfinder, this custom 4-Pin LEMO Power & Video Cable from Zacuto enables you to both power the Kameleon from a D-Tap source and transmit an SDI signal via BNC. A switch is located on the D-Tap connector for powering the Kameleon on and off.

This single-cable solution features a single molded sheathing with two BNC, one 4-pin LEMO, and one D-Tap connector on free cable ends for neatly configuring your rig.
