Wisycom BFLT1_F1-B-SC-BT2 Overview
The Wisycom BFLT1 is a high-performance RF-over-fiber transmitter designed for minimal signal loss over long distances. Equipped with a 4mW (6 dBm) laser, it enables you to use a fiber-optic cable instead of a coaxial cable, ensuring reliable coverage, even when the antenna is placed miles away from the receiver. BFLT1 operates in two modes: Antenna Mode, which enables placement in a local rack to receive RF from a remote antenna with minimal degradation, and IFB Mode, which allows it to work with the MTK982 (available separately) to send a low-power, single-channel IFB/IEM signal to remote locations. This model is configured with the F1 filter option and operates in the 470 to 758 MHz range.
BFLT1 features 20 bandpass-filter options and a 1 MHz-step software-tunable filter, enhancing RF robustness in challenging environments. Additionally, the unit provides a 12 VDC / 150mA output for powering active antennas in remote setups. For seamless operation, the BFLT1 supports Bluetooth remote control and monitoring via the Wisycom BT app (available for iOS and Android) or through its onboard navigation buttons and high-contrast OLED display. Connectivity is streamlined with SC/APC optical and BNC RF connectors, ensuring easy integration into various setups.
