This Kit pairs the Ubiquiti Networks UNAS Pro 7-Bay NAS Enclosure with four 24TB Toshiba N300 PRO 7200 rpm SATA III 3.5" Internal NAS HDDs for a storage capacity of 96TB.
Designed for large-scale file storage and sharing, the UNAS Pro 7-Bay NAS Enclosure from Ubiquiti is equipped with seven SATA III drive bays that support both 3.5" HDDs, plus 2.5" SSDs and HDDs. Network connectivity is achieved using a 1GbE RJ45 port and a 10GbE SFP+ port, while wireless accessories may be paired using Bluetooth 4.1. Also featured is a 1.7 GHz ARM Cortex-A57 Quad-Core processor, 8GB of memory, a 1.3" touchscreen for management, data protection with RAID technology, a 2 RU form factor. This NAS is also UniFi power backup ready.
Designed for use in RAID or NAS arrays with up to 24 drive bays, the 24TB N300 PRO 7200 rpm SATA III 3.5" Internal NAS HDD from Toshiba delivers a higher workload rate of up to 300TB per year and 24/7 operations. This 24TB drive operates using a SATA III 6 Gb/s interface, a 512MB cache, and a rotational speed of 7200 rpm, all of which help to ensure uninterrupted data transfers with a rate of up to 309 MB/s. This drive also features high levels of reliability, with 600,000 load/unload cycles, 1 in 1015 non-recoverable read errors per bits read, a 2.5 million hour MTTF, and a workload rate of up to 550TB per year. Shock protection is provided by a rotational vibration sensor, while ramp loading helps reduce wear and Error Recovery Control limits recovery time to help optimize error correction.
