Description
Designed as a storage expansion device for Windows, Mac, or Linux computers, the D8 Hybrid 2 8-Bay USB 3.2 Gen 2 DAS Enclosure from TerraMaster features four 3.5/2.5" SATA drive bays that can accommodate HDDs and SSDs, plus four M.2 2280 NVMe slots for SSDs. Users will be able to tailor their storage setup to optimize efficiency and store frequently used "hot" data on the SSDs, while cold data that is accessed less frequently is kept on the HDDs.
The D8 Hybrid 2 is designed with a single drive architecture for simpler management, greater stability, and flexible storage expansion. Across four M.2 SSDs, read speeds can reach up to 1020 MB/s and write speeds up to 980 MB/s. The D8 Hybrid 2 connects to your host system using a 10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port and stays cool using a 120mm fan. It may also be used to expand the storage of a compatible TerraMaster NAS devices. Included is a power cord, a power adapter, a 2.6' 10 Gb/s USB-C cable, and screws.
