Description
A smart bundle for photojournalists and other multi-camera carriers, the Kinesis C600 Holster and Padded Shoulder Strap Kit from B&H pairs the Kinesis system-compatible C600 Holster with a padded shoulder strap for comfort and portability.
The large, C600 Holster Case from Kinesis provides a secure transport and storage solution for a full or large-sized DSLR camera, a vertical grip, and an attached lens. This case is designed to fit a compatible body and a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. This case allows the attached lens's hood to be placed in the reverse position. A large front pocket can hold most shoe-mount flash units and a smaller pocket under the lid can be used to store small accessories such as lens cloths or memory cards. To help ensure that the compatible camera and lens combination are always accessible from the rear of the holster, a Kinesis V100 CameraCushion is included to provide elevation from the front of the case if necessary. This Kinesis holster is compatible with the Kinesis Attachment Tab System (KATS) for ease of use with Kinesis belts. Alternatively, generic belts up to 2" thick can also be used and built-in D-rings allow for attachment to a harness or shoulder strap.
0.4" of closed-cell foam on the sides, 0.2" on the rear lid, and 0.6" on the front of the holster cushion the camera and lens placed inside while a 500 denier nylon exterior provides water resistance.
When used on a waist belt, the optional Kinesis Y302 Strap Kit is recommended to prevent the top of the case from pulling away from the belt.
One pair of the Kinesis Siamese SlikClips is included to allow legacy Kinesis TwinBuckle accessory pouches to attach to one side of this holster case.
The Kinesis Y315 Padded Shoulder Strap is a popular carrying accessory for Kinesis holster cases and lens pouches. It may also be used with cases and pouches that have eyelets or rings compatible with spring clips. The bottom side of the strap features a rubber-like surface to provide a non-slip grip, while the top side of the strap includes 500-denier nylon for durability and weather resistance.
The length of this strap is adjustable from 17.50 to 59.00" and its padding measures 1.75" wide.
This shoulder strap is recommended for loads under 12.00 lb (5.55 kg) and can be converted to a tripod strap by adding the Kinesis T100 Tripod Strap Adapter to it.
