Description
The FRA400C 72mm Quintuplet Astrograph OTA from Askar offers a high level of versatility, including eyepiece viewing as well as astrophotography—and even a camera-style aperture with stops from f/5.6 to f/22. The 72mm self-flattening scope employs a quintuplet lens design with two extra-low dispersion elements for accurate color and sharp detail.
It comes with M72, M54, and M48 camera adapters as well as 1.25 and 2" eyepiece adapters. For daytime photography, flip the OTA over and mount its handle on a 1/4"-20 tripod. The helical focuser will feel familiar to anyone who's used a camera lens.
