Tannoy CI 6DC Overview
Using the same standards from their flagship hi-fi and pro loudspeakers, the QCI 8DC 8" Dual Concentric In-Ceiling Loudspeaker from Tannoy features up to 320W of peak output from a dual concentric driver system. The system includes a 8" bass/mid-range driver with a glass fiber cone is joined by a centrally located 1" tweeter. Thanks to Tannoy's omnimagnet technology, the drivers can be placed close together to improve integration and time alignment, resulting in balanced, high-quality sound in a discrete in-ceiling solution. Installation can be seamless, with a powder-coated perforated UV/dust-resistant steel mesh grille that can be painted to match your decor.
Torus Ogive Waveguide
Enhancing performance, the Torus Ogive waveguide of the QCI 8DC used rapid wavefront expansion to improve high frequency directivity and deliver a focused audio image.
