The SymplyPRO LTO-8 Half-Height Rackmount Tape Drive from SYMPLY features a half-height, 1 RU form factor with dual drive bays, one of which has an LTO-8 tape drive. Connectivity options include dual Thunderbolt 3 ports for daisy-chaining and device charging, plus one SAS host port and one SAS expansion port. LTO-8 media supports a native storage capacity of up to 12TB and data transfers of up to 300 MB/s, or, when using 2.5:1 compression, a storage capacity of up to 30TB and data transfers of up to 500 MB/s. This SymplyPRO LTO-8 Tape Drive is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Linear Tape File System (LTFS)
Linear Tape File System (LTFS) support, for compatibility with a myriad of backup and archive applications. Ensure data is stored in a non-proprietary format that is easy to interchange and migrate. In some use cases, LTFS can reduce the need for backup or archive software and allows users to easily interchange data using LTO cartridges or copying data to and from hard drives or SSDs.
