Packed inside its large frame, the ULT TOWER 9AC offers nuanced, 360° room-filling sound from a pair of front and rear tweeters, front pair of midrange drivers, and a large X-Balanced woofer. Bass that can be ramped up for larger crowds with the press the ULT button and ULT DUCT baffle to help spread it around the room. Your music is enhanced by a synchronized 360° set of built-in party lights. You can stream tunes or play them from a USB stick or device, or you can create your own live music with optional mics and/or guitar. In the ULT TOWER 9AC is a pair of midrange drivers for vocal clarity, two front and two rear tweeters to fill the space, and a large X-Balanced woofer to bring the bass. Bass is so pronounced on the ULT TOWER 9AC thanks to the X-Balanced woofer's nearly square design, which adds more surface area for increased sound pressure for deep bass with less distortion. Add in the ULT DUCT to spread bass around the space, plus a dedicated ULT button for a bass boost, and your guests will definitely feel the music.

You have a lot of options when it comes to the music you can play through your ULT TOWER 9AC. You can hook up traditional wired components using a single optical digital audio or 3.5mm AUX input. Play your digital library by plugging in an optional USB-A flash drive. One 1/4" mic input and one 1/4" mic/guitar combo input lets you add optional microphones and/or a guitar to show off your talents. However, when in doubt, stream your favorite playlists over Bluetooth from your mobile device of choice.

Pair your Bluetooth-enabled mobile device to stream audio through the ULT TOWER 9AC. With support for multipoint technology, you can simultaneously connect up to two devices at once. The speaker will automatically switch between devices as they play audio. This lets you share DJ duties or access a friend's playlist. If you have a Bluetooth Fast Pair-compatible Android device, you can pair to the speaker with just a tap.

Create a club or festival vibe using the speakers built-in multi-colored lighting system. The lights are emitted from the top and bottom of the ULT TOWER 9AC, synchronizing to the beat of the music, and they're conveniently controlled using the Sound Connect mobile app.

For spaces too big even for the ULT TOWER 9AC, you can easily expand your coverage with additional speakers. Add just one additional ULT TOWER 9AC via Bluetooth to double the sound and enjoy true stereo separation. You can also use the Party Connect function to add up to 100 more compatible speakers. Party Connect conveniently does not require an app to link speakers, just press the dedicated CONNECT button.

Increase your TV's audio capabilities with TV Sound Booster. Connect the ULT TOWER 9AC directly to your TV via the included optical audio cable, then activate TV Sound Booster in the Sound Connect mobile app.

Portability is an essential feature of the ULT TOWER 9AC. Easily physically move it from here to there with built-in dual casters and integrated carry handles on top of the speaker. Just tilt and roll.

Sony's Sound Connect mobile app lets you take full remote control over the ULT TOWER 9AC. Some controllable functions include linking speakers with Party Connect, enhance TV sound with TV Sound Booster, dial in your preferred sound with a 10-band equalizer, access shortcut settings, control lighting, view recent playback history, and more.

Sound Field Optimizer

Even if the party gets wild, you can still hear your music clearly with the Sound Field Optimizer function. It will detect local noise and automatically change the sound settings to optimize playback.
