SMK-Link VP6970 Overview
Expand your workstation and productivity with the VP6970 USB-C Triple 4K Monitor Docking Station from SMK-Link. With 15 separate ports for USB, audio, display, and internet connectivity, this dock delivers a wide variety of use cases for workers in-office or at-home.
USB Connectivity
A USB-C 3.1 host connection delivers up to 60W of Power Delivery to keep your device charged while using this docking station. A USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and USB-C 3.0 port offer 10 Gb/s and 5 Gb/s transfer speeds respectively. Both support up to 7.5W of power output to charge other devices.
Two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port, and two USB-A 2.0 ports provide 10 Gb/s, 5 Gb/s, and 480 Mb/s respectively. This wide range of performance means this dock supports every accessory from mice and keyboards to external SSDs.
Display Connectivity
A single DisplayPort 1.4 port and two HDMI 2.0b ports support three connected displays with a 4K resolution at 30 Hz. If only connecting to one external display, the monitor can have 4K resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate for smoother motion. Please note that some Mac systems only support one extended display.
Ethernet, Audio, and SD Connectivity
A Gigabit Ethernet port gives you the option of using a hardwired internet connection for more stable performance. The 3.5mm audio jack supports both headphone output and microphone input, making it perfect for headsets during virtual meetings and video calls. There is one SD and one microSD card slot so you can take information from your camera, tablet, and other portable devices.
