RCF S 19 Overview
The RCF S 19 is a high-performance passive bass reflex subwoofer engineered for powerful and controlled low-frequency reproduction in installed sound systems. Equipped with a 19" HyperVented neodymium woofer and a 4" voice coil, the S 19 delivers fast transient response and extended excursion, producing clean, articulate bass with minimal distortion. It handles up to 1500 watts RMS and 6000 watts peak, reaching a maximum SPL of 139 dB across a 30 Hz to 200 Hz frequency range.
Weatherproof, Impact-Resistant, Built to Last
S Series enclosures are finished with a highly durable polyurea coating that provides excellent waterproofing and corrosion protection. The coating withstands abrasion, impacts, and mechanical stress, and its high elasticity maintains flexibility even in low temperatures. For enhanced weather resistance, the WP model features an acoustically transparent water-repellent fabric, seamlessly integrated into the powder-coated metal grille assembly, and IP67-rated Amphenol eco|mate power connectors on the back panel. Integrated side handles and an M20 pole mount on the top panel offer flexible deployment options for both fixed and portable applications.
Precision Bass
Designed for use in ground-stacked and cardioid array configurations, the S 19 WP allows for focused low-frequency coverage with reduced rearward spill. Its 19" cone offers an ideal compromise (between the speed of 18" drivers and the extended range of 21"), combining a high-damping cellulose cone, composite spider, and a four-layer inside-outside coil, for superior thermal performance and low-frequency accuracy.
Optimized System Integration with XPS Series
For optimal performance, the S 19 WP pairs seamlessly with RCF's XPS Series power amplifiers, which provide DSP-controlled output and system protection tailored to RCF loudspeakers. This combination ensures reliable power delivery, precise crossover alignment, and consistent sound across all performance levels. Recommended amps include the XPS 16K and XPS 16KD.
