Designed from the ground up to deliver stellar audio performance, the RCF NXL 24-A MK2 is a 2100W active 2-way column array speaker that's tuned for absolute clarity and deep, powerful bass well suited for bands, DJs, clubs, and rental houses. The NXL 24-A can be used alone, on a pole, or paired with a subwoofer, vertically coupled for improved vertical coverage, and can also be flown or truss-mounted using the included rigging points and special accessories.
The integrated bi-amplifier delivers 700W to the high-frequency compression driver and 1400W to the four 6" woofers, which combine for a 60 Hz to 20 kHz linear frequency response and a peak SPL of 132 dB. The rugged, tour-ready, high-quality Baltic birch plywood cabinet is easy to carry and installed securely using the dedicated rigging points.

Preset Selector
- LINEAR: This preset is recommended for all regular applications of the speaker.
- 2 SPEAKERS: This preset creates the correct equalization for the use of two NXL 24-A or NXL 44-A coupled on a subwoofer or in suspended configuration.
- HIGH-PASS: This preset activates a 60 Hz high-pass filter for the correct coupling of the NXL 24-A with subwoofers not provided with their own internal filter.
Power that Moves
The most powerful amplifier in its class. RCF's improvements in transducer design make them stronger and more powerful. With 2100W of power, the NXL MK2 2-channel Class-D amplifier is 50% more powerful than previous models. NXL manages extreme sound pressure levels with an ultrafast attack, realistic transient response, and very low power loss. NXL modules are energy-efficient so there's no need for a cooling fan�the amplifier is attached to a solid aluminum heat exchanger in the rear of the cabinet�with no moving parts. The input circuit features a new low distortion design with an advanced safety limiter, maintaining the true character of the input signal at all levels. All NXL amplifiers are designed according to EN62368-1 for maximum safety and house a Switch Mode Power Supply section with minimum weight.
Line Array Performance and Coverage
The vertically asymmetrical horn design accurately projects the sound energy and avoids unwanted reflections when placed on a sub or a speaker stand, without tilting the enclosure. This design also allows configuring two cascading NXL columns for optimal coverage. Intelligibility is significantly increased in challenging acoustic environments. The speaker delivers an extended low-frequency range that is increased when paired with a subwoofer for medium-sized concerts and DJ sets.
Superior Transducers
Lightweight and powerful, RCF drivers are a reference in high performance. All transducers are designed by RCF engineers in Italy for maximum reliability and perfectly matched components. The extended clarity of the 3" compression driver features a neodymium magnet for improved current handling and reduced weight. The best-in-class titanium dome and the Polyimide/Kapton voice coil handle extreme power levels with very low distortion. Four, high-power 6" low-frequency woofers with a new advanced transducer design gain more stability over higher currents, with less distortion, fast transient response, and better heat dissipation.
Bass Motion Control
- When searching for an extended bass with enhanced performance, RCF engineers found a way to remove the high-pass filter, replacing it with a forward-thinking approach. Introducing BMC (Bass Motion Control), the newly advanced woofer excursion management feature. The speaker equipped with BMC can handle the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the woofer stability, with extended linearity and better sound integrity.
- The BMC method works by creating a complete map of the dynamic behavior of the woofer, to generate a custom algorithm that only limits over-excursions. This gives total freedom of signal reproduction to the transducer. When high-pass filters normally protect the woofer motion from becoming destructive but change the phase behavior, the new BMC algorithm breaks conventional rules.
New Perspective on Linearity
- RCF speakers are designed using a proprietary and advanced digital FiR technology, conceived to deliver transparent sound, absolute clarity, and perfect imaging to the listener.
- The special FiRPHASE filters allow for coherent distribution of sound for all listeners without phase distortions, ensuring minimum latencies in the system.

The sleek column design and flexible rigging options make it a smart choice for a wide range of sound applications.
