Audio engineers in need of bass complement for the HL 6 array system will be impressed with the RCF HL 35-S, a passive, flyable subwoofer that extends the bass response of full-range speakers suitable for a wide range of applications, including live sound reinforcement in clubs and music venues as well as touring bands and rental houses.
The HL 35-S requires a recommended 1800W amplifier to power the 15" woofer, which provides a 40 to 140 Hz frequency response and an SPL of 134 dB. The Baltic birch enclosure includes a steel front grille with a transparent-to-sound foam backing, which helps protect the transducer from dust. Integrated array mechanics allow for fast and easy deployment, while the M20 pole mount in the top section of the cabinet allows for ground stacking with a subwoofer pole.
