QNAP QXG-10G2SF-NXE Overview
Enhance your workflow by installing the QXG-10G2SF-NXE 2-Port 10G SFP+ PCIe 3.0 Network Adapter Card into your compatible QNAP NAS or desktop computer system. By using separately purchased transceivers, each of the two SFP+ slots can reach up to 10 Gb/s speeds, allowing photographers and videographers to quickly share and transfer footage.
This network adapter card fits into an available PCIe 3.0 x8 slot. Both slots may be combined with SMB multichannel or port trunking for 20 Gb/s speeds with compatible devices. The adapter has a low-profile bracket attached with a full-height bracket included alongside a specialized bracket for select QNAP devices.
iSER support combines iSCSI and RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access), which can bypass general network drivers, the socket layer, and to directly enter memory buffers of the server and storage. This helps to reduce the response time and ensure the service quality of the NAS.
