It is the ultimate cheese plate, covered with a series of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for mounting articulating arms, converter boxes, EVF mounts, rods, batteries, and other accessories to your camera setup. Furthermore, the threaded holes on the front offer vertical mounting onto a standard 15mm rod via an rod clamp (sold seperately) for attaching a battery plate, follow focus, LCD mount, and more.
