When you need to be on your feet to capture the action with your professional video camera, this lightweight Discovery SR-10 Comfortable Shoulder Mount Rig from Proaim takes the load off your arms during extended handheld shoots. The rig supports a camera with accessories weighing up to 44 lb, transferring the weight to your shoulder for endurance and stability.
The center rail includes a quick release base plate that shifts forward and back to balance your rig, whereas the NATO crossbar shifts the handles left and right. The baseplate includes a clamp for a 15mm rod, the crossbar has 1/4"-20 female threads, and the long dovetail plate provides ample real estate to connect other imperative elements like a monitor or matte box.
