Hum from electromagnetic interference (EMI) can occur when you record or broadcast from an untreated room. To minimize the interference that can cause a constant buzz or hum in your audio, the MC-POD is designed with advanced internal shielding that protects it against EMI.
The cardioid polar pattern rejects off-axis sound, focusing the sound directly in front of the capsule. That's a great feature when you're speaking from a location with some background noise, as the MC-POD will reject extraneous sound and focus on your voice.
Integrated Windscreen and Pop Filter

The rugged, all-metal mount has a standard 5/8-27 socket that's compatible with most mic stands or mic boom arms. It's also equipped with dual locking knobs for easy angle adjustment and a secure hold once the mic is in perfect position. The swivel capacity of this mount means you can position the MC-POD so it's never blocking your view of your guests or interviewees.
Auray BA-XE4 Broadcast Arm with Integrated XLR Cable
Outfit your home or pro studio with the Auray BA-XE4, a sturdy, two-section broacast boom arm that supports broadcast-style microphones up to 3.5 lb. With its integrated 10' XLR cable and virtually noiseless operation, this boom arm will come in handy for podcasting or radio-style broadcasting.
The BA-XE4 sports a spring design engineered to provide maximal support to microphones. It provides plenty of range for positioning. Use the standard 5/8"-27 mic mount to acommodate most shockmounts and mic clips, and reposition the angle of the mount at will. 5/8-27 Threaded Microphone Mount
The industry-standard 5/8-27 threaded microphone mount is compatible with most shockmounts and microphone clips.
An extension of up to 38" and the ability to rotate the arm 360? allow for precise microphone placement. And once you've put your mic in an optimal position, you can be sure it stays there, because the ergonomic locking knobs give you plenty of torque to tighten and fix the mic's position.
The BA-XE4 broadcast arm comes with options of convenient temporary mounting or more permanent installation. The included C-clamp is for temporary and movable fastening to a desktop or workstation. The flange mount screws into a flat surface for permanent installation on a broadcast station or podium.
