Neewer Mini Matte Box Kit Overview

Designed for content creators and vloggers, the PG009 Mini Matte Box Kit from Neewer is a modular light diffusion box with accessories to finely sculpt light. Designed to reduce incoming light, the box has an 180° top flag to avoid lens flare that can be adjusted to accommodate the kit's two filter trays that quickly slide and lock into place. The box mounts directly to a 95mm lens and includes four lens adapters to attach to the box to various Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, and Sony lenses. The square trays slide into the matte box to attach Neewer filters to further refine light. Ideal for on-the-go shooting, the filters are constructed with HD optical glass, and the box and accessories are built from PC, ABS, and carbon fiber materials that are durable and lightweight. Connect the box with its 1/4"-20 mounting point to connect the fixture to rigs. This kit includes a matte box, an ND 0.9 filter, an ND 1.8 filter, two filter trays, four lens adapters, a matte box storage bag, two filter storage bags, and a cleaning cloth.

Precise Exposure Control

Further refine your lighting output with the kit's two ND0.9 and ND1.8 filters. The ND0.9 filter produces three stops of light reduction and 12.5% light transmission for average lighting conditions. For bright, high-sun environments, the ND1.8 filter offers six stops of light reduction and 1.56% light transmission. Use these filters to prevent overexposure and correctly balance image exposure. Constructed with HD optical glass, these filters are made with 30-layer coatings on each side, ensuring color accuracy for high-definition video recording.

Versatile and Modular Matte Box

Designed with a 180° top flag, the box blocks excess light to reduce lens flare. Constructed with a locking knob, the top flag can be secured into place, as well as adjusted forward and backward, to attach the kit's two filter trays that hold a variety of Neewer filters, UV filters, and black diffusion filters. This matte box is also compatible with K&F, NISI, and Tiffen filters.

Vast Compatibility

This box mounts directly onto a 95mm lens, or use the kit's four circular lens adapters, including 67, 72, 77, and 82mm, to attach the box to a variety of Canon, Nikon, FUJIFILM, and Sony camera lenses.
