I bought this only because I cannot locate my small, flat, Nikon point-and-shoot, the the nice little Panasoni no longer works because the lens gets stuck on extension. I got it to take quick photos and not have them on my phone, or OK to leave in the car and not worry about it. A similarly sized SONY would be a better choice, but at over four times the price. The zoom is awkward, focus at a distance is perplexing, and the mini SD card, requiring an adapter is inconvenient. Also, it is not possible to add a UV filter to protect the lens, and there's no lens cap. There is also no case or cover available. The image quality is good and it seems rugged enough. It's fine for what I got it for, but otherwise, not recommended. Considering that Minolta is out of business, this may have some value as historical footnote.
