Description
The MCP16301T-I/CHY is an adjustable output step down DC to DC regulator in 6 pin SOT-23 package. This highly integrated, high efficiency step down DC to DC converter includes high side switch, fixed frequency peak current mode control, internal compensation, peak current limit and overtemperature protection. Very less external components are necessary to develop complete step down DC to DC converter power supply. High converter efficiency is achieved by integrating current limit, low resistance, high speed N channel MOSFET and associated drive circuitry. High switching frequency minimizes the size of external filtering components resulting in small solution size. Output voltage is set with an external resistor divider.
