The Luxli Timpani? 1x1 RGB LED Light Panel is an exciting and noteworthy addition to Luxli's Lucie Award-winning Orchestra series of lights. Like the original Timpani LED light panel, the Timpani? is precisely manufactured to Luxli's exact specifications in Norway, and each light comes with its own individual photometrics chart that clearly displays the light's accuracy, consistency, and brightness.

The Timpani? features a highly accurate and versatile RGB LED panel that supports Bluetooth 5. Five lighting modes offer precise illumination for any situation. You can match any ambient lighting condition with color temperature adjustment from 2800 to 10,000K, and it also puts nearly every hue of the visible spectrum at your fingertips. Choose from 150 colored filters or 10 customizable animated effects. The new High Frame Rate (HFR) mode eliminates banding and flicker when shooting at high frame rates.

The Timpani? features a simple and intuitive on-unit LCD interface for direct control. When connecting to the unit via the Composer mobile app, you'll gain access to even more powerful features, including responsive group control, lighting animation effects, eyedropper color selection, and mode sequencing. And create unique animated lighting effects. Use the Composer app to wirelessly combine and synchronize multiple Luxli Orchestra units.

Runs on AC or DC Power

When you're shooting in the field or on location, it's nice to know the Timpani? runs on V-mount battery power. The light also runs on AC power via the 4-pin XLR input. The Timpani? prioritizes the connected power sources and seamlessly switches between them. You'll have constant power for lengthy shoots without any downtime.

DMX

DMX 512 compatibility lets you control CCT, HSL, and Filter (GEL) modes in 8- and 16-bit operation modes. And with its 5-pin XLR I/O connectors, you can daisy-chain your lights in a multi-light setup and join any lighting grid.

Included Yoke Mount

The Timpani? includes a sturdy all-metal yoke with a 5/8" receiver for convenient light-stand mounting. The yoke also features tilt control and height adjustment for balancing your light.

Firmware Updates

Luxli is always working to improve the Orchestra Series LED lights. Install the latest firmware in seconds via Bluetooth 5 using the Composer app.

CCT Mode

The traditional correlated color temperature (CCT) mode allows you to accurately adjust your color temperature from 2800 to 10,000K in 50K increments with incredible accuracy. This lets you emulate any lighting condition from the cool hues of bright sunlight to the warmth of a tungsten bulb. The 5-die LEDs provide a maximum output of 6600 Lux at 3' that's stable from 2800 to 10,000K.

HSL Mode

One of the great innovations of the Luxli Orchestra family of lights is the HSL color mode. Dial-up almost any hue by scrolling through the entire color spectrum in 1? increments, adjusting the saturation as well as the base white point. You don't have to settle for "close enough" when you can set the precise hue you need.

Filter Mode

The Timpani? is loaded with 150 digital gel filters. Filter mode allows you to adjust the color temperature setting in 50K increments and apply any of the colored gels. It's as accurate as putting a gel in front of the actual light. Thanks to filter mode, you don't have to bring your gels with you to your shoot

Effects Mode

The Timpani? has ten preprogrammed effects with adjustable parameters for incredibly realistic lighting effects. Recreate exciting cinematic effects like the light from fireworks, a police car's flashing lights, or a campfire in a mild breeze, without extra gear. Adjustable parameters let you customize each effect to your specific needs.

High Frame Rate (HFR) Mode

Luxli introduces HFR mode with the Timpani? so videographers can shoot at high frame rates without unwanted banding. HFR mode sets one of the five diodes to remain constantly on, so you don't have to stop to calculate frame rates when you're trying to capture that perfect slow-motion shot.

CIE XY Mode

The Timpani? boasts the advanced CIE XY mode that's accessed via the Composer app. Input the exact coordinates along the X and Y axes of the CIE 1931 color space for color matching other lighting fixtures with incredible accuracy.

Compatible Products

The ORC-TIMP-2C has the room to fit two Timpani lights, or can be configured to carry one Timpani light along with accessories like barndoors, diffuser, batteries, and cables. You can also carry most 1?1 lights in this case.
