XF-1991-FAR is a thermocouple brake pad temperature sensor. Sensor has 1m of fiber glass insulated cable, with stainless steel overbraid. Each tip is sealed with a high temperature ceramic paste (fortafix) which can withstand temperatures up to +400°C.
