Kopul VOL-MATE-P Overview
The Kopul VOL-MATE-P is a passive controller designed to precisely adjust or mute the volume from mono guitars, mono/stereo keyboard and headphone outputs, and other 1/4"-equipped audio devices in any project studio, pro studio, or live-sound setup. Place it inline between devices that use 1/4" TRS or 1/4" TS connectors and the stepless knob allows you to adjust the volume conveniently without accessing the controls on your audio interface, mixer, or effects processor.
Thanks to its passive design, the VOL-MATE-P does not alter or color the audio signal, ensuring you hear exactly what's coming from your source device. It also does not require power to operate. Compact enough to slip into your pocket, the VOL-MATE-P features a durable steel chassis that withstands the bumps and bangs of travel. Additionally, its nonslip rubber feet keep it stable on your desktop, so it's always within reach.
- The VOL-MATE-P accommodates both balanced and unbalanced signals, faithfully passing through the signal it receives.
- For mono sources like a guitar, it outputs a mono signal to an amp or mixer.
- When handling stereo sources from a computer or keyboard, it maintains the stereo image for output to headphones, an interface, or a mixer.
- Additionally, the VOL-MATE-P can serve as an effects return in live setups, offering a convenient volume control when a dedicated fader isn�t available on the soundboard.
- The VOL-MATE volume controller does not amplify sound.
