Advanced Flow and HomeyScript

For many, Advanced Flow will be enough to easily create extremely personalized smart home instances and actions through a graphical interface. Simply drag and drop devices, instances, and actions as Flow Cards, linking them together into a "flow". For example, connect a motion sensor to send you a push notification to confirm if an alarm should be triggered, and activate an alarm and lights after a delay or confirmation. HomeyScript lets those who are, or want to be, more technical create very specific commands using code and Homey's Web API to create scripts.

Runs Local

The Homey smart home system with Pro mini is designed to run near-exclusively on your local network, using the cloud only when absolutely necessary. This means that you can operate your smart home even when the internet is down. You also have the benefit of local backup to a Mac or PC or to an optional USB storage device.

Experiments

Homey engineers are always creating new tools to enhance the smart home experience, and you can access these Experiments when available. Examples include Power User, Virtual Devices, Apple, and SSH, which can add more Flow Cards, unlock an unlimited number of virtual devices, integrate with Apple products, and access a Linux sandbox.
