Hikvision DS-2CD2087G2-L Overview
Monitor an outdoor area with the Hikvision DS-2CD2087G2-L ColorVu 8MP Network Bullet Camera. This unit uses a 1/1.2" progressive scan CMOS sensor to capture 3840 x 2160 resolution video at 20 fps. An integrated spotlight provides up to 131' of illumination. The camera's 2.8mm fixed lens delivers a 102° horizontal field of view. A memory card slot accepts microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards up to 256GB (available separately). Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable.
This bullet camera complies with ONVIF profiles S and G, making it compatible with a wide range of surveillance devices. It is housed in an IP67-rated metal enclosure that is suitable for outdoor use.

OMG Amazing camera
I absolutely love this camera and the whole ColorVu lineup.
Fantastic Day/Night Color Camera
Can't say enough about the resolution. It can read a street sign 1/2 a block away. The digital zoom maintains a good focus for magnification. This camera gives you full color both day and night, especially in lowlight situations. The LED assist can be disabled or dimmed for special situations and can be automated for turning on at dusk and off at dauwn or set to a particular 24/7 time. Paired with the NVR there are many different alarm zone/conditions.
Incredible Night Vision
This camera is impressive. The image quality and sharpness both in day and night is excellent. The night vision is truly incredible, its low light performance is beyond anything I expected. I have these cameras installed in a 1000x100 foot parking lot. At night with the lights off I can see the entire lot, and far beyond in vivid full color illumination. Cars and people are easily recognizable, the dynamic range is great and the image is clear and not grainy. The ColorVu sensor is absolutely worth every penny, I'd never settle for anything less.
look like refurbished and see dirt in internal lens
Box seal is seal, but Camera looks like refurbished and can see dirt in internal lens, thin plastic protect the face too much bubble under and dirt, meaning peel off and put back few times by returning something.
Function well
It is not the fault of b&h, but one camera arrived focused about 10 feet out and the other arrived focused at infinity. So neither work well for monitoring my driveway which is why I bought them. I learned after the fact that hikvisiin is having quality control issues with this model by reading various forums. I will not be purchasing HikVision in the future. Will have to sell these units at a severe loss as used cameras.
Night and day improvement over previous infrared
Night becomes day compared to older infrared cameras at our property. This is the second ColorVu Hikvision I've purchased and the improvement is night and day better. Seriously.

This camera is amazing, night vision is in color and lights up a huge area, only thing is that when it's dark there is a light that is always on which gives people knowledge that they are being seen
Good cam for the price
Good low light performance. Good picture quality. I do find the interface very limited. But the good outweighs the bad. All in all it seems like a relatively good deal.
