Description
Hammond 122XB Overview
The red walnut veneer version of the Hammond 122XB Leslie Rotary Speaker is specifically designed to work with the new more modern models of Hammond Organs that require a separate cabinet for sound reproduction and use the current 11-pin Leslie connector input. An adapter kit is available for older Hammond models.
To generate sound, the speaker uses a two-speed high-powered horn and a 15" woofer bass rotor with driven by a handcrafted 40W RMS vacuum tube amplifier. Level is adjusted with the master volume control and a power switch allows the speaker to be turned on and off. An optional interface panel is available (sold separately) that provides a 1/4" guitar cord input and a jack for foot switch.
