The RGB-CP425-PIX Compact On-Camera RGB LED Light Panel from Genaray features an array of 80 RGBAW LED bulbs that produce a bright and color-accurate light, as well as realistic lighting effects. This pocket-sized on-camera light boasts a wide color temperature range of 2800 to 8000K, so it is easy to match almost any ambient light or other light fixtures in a setup. Use it as an on-camera light perfect for portraits, headshots, or macro photography. It can also be mounted on a boompole for hard-to-reach positioning or as a handheld light for ultra-creative angles or effects. The RGB-CP425-PIX is loaded with advanced technology. Five operating modes accurately set color temperature, manually select any color from the 360° color wheel, and simulate the light from one of the 48 industry-standard gels. It also features 10 animated effects that let you add a police car emergency light, a flickering candle, flashing paparazzi cameras, and more to your videos. Pixel mode provides more animated options like RGB and AW color chases, transitions, and other fun effects.
The RGB-CP425-PIX is controlled by a simple and intuitive on-unit interface with an easy-to-read OLED display screen. Bluetooth support pairs with Genaray's RGB Series mobile app, which provides more light control and access to even more powerful features. Use the app to create a universe of RGB-series lights that can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet from up to 33' away.
Compact and Versatile
Whether you're recording a vlog or need a cool-running light for on-camera or close-up work, the RGB-CP425-PIX provides bright output, CCT and RGB modes for the perfect color temperature and hue, and GEL mode for color correction. It also features lighting effects modes and a pixel mode for advanced creative imaging.
CCT Mode
CCT mode allows a selection of color temperatures from 2800 to 8000K to easily simulate the golden warmth of a tungsten bulb, the diffused blue tint of an overcast day, and everything in between. This is a perfect mode for precisely matching ambient light or other lights, on set or on location.
HSI Mode
HSI stands for hue, saturation, and intensity, and this mode provides a selection of any of the 360 colors of the color wheel, with adjustable saturation and brightness. This mode is a surefire way to add interest, drama, and some fun to still and video images. Light a subject in any of the colors and tweak the saturation and brightness for a subtle accent on hair, clothes, or background.
Gel Mode
Select any of the 48 colored gel settings that are as realistic as putting an industry-standard gel in front of an actual light. Gel mode is so convenient that it eliminates the need to carry gels to create color correction or theatrical effects.
Pixel Mode
Pixel Mode separates the LED array into eight zones and uses its RGB capabilities to adjust pixels independently to create animated effects like RGB and AW color chases, transitions, and other fun effects. Editable settings make it possible to adjust hue, CCT, and timing to meet specific needs.
10 Lighting Effects
Ten realistic animated effects are built into this light that can add drama to video content to help you tell the story. Effects include color chase, lightning, cop car, paparazzi, strobe, fireworks, pulsing, explosion, television, and fire.
Diffusion
To ensure the LED array doesn't cast harsh or multiple shadows, the light panel is equipped with an integrated diffuser to soften the beam. An additional silicone diffuser is included for a flattering and beautiful light.
Genaray RGB App
The Genaray RGB app is available for iOS and Android devices. The free-to-download app can control Genaray's RGB-series lights from up to 33' away. The RGB app expands the RGB-CP425-PIX's capabilities with a wider range of operating modes and editable parameters.
Master and Slave Modes
The RGB-CP425-PIX will seamlessly fit into a multi-light setup with other select Genaray lights. In Master mode, it can control a multi-light setup; when set to slave mode, it will seamlessly fit into a lighting setup with other RGB-Series lights.
Mounting Options
The RGB-CP425-PIX comes with a cold shoe adapter, so it can be mounted directly on a camera. Other options are available thanks to the integrated 1/4"-20 socket. Mount it onto the included tabletop tripod, which is perfect for vlogs and interviews, or directly onto a ball head. It's so lightweight that it can be mounted on a boompole or even used as a handheld light for creative effects and positioning.
Magnetic Mounting
Put a kiss of light in hard-to-reach places by using the built-in mounting magnets to attach the RGB-CP425-PIX to any metal surface like a shelf, door, or desk.
Wired and Wireless Charging
An internal lithium-ion battery can be easily recharged from a powered USB port or hub, available separately. It can also be charged using a Qi-type wireless charging pad.
