Genaray Oki Mochi Overview
The Oki Mochi On-Camera Mini RGB Light from Genaray is a perfect on-camera light to add advanced lighting effects to any camcorder, DSLR, mirrorless, or point-and-shoot camera. Slightly larger than its cousin, the original Mochi light, the Oki Mochi still packs a lot of power and can be a serious on-camera light. With the proper adapter, the Oki Mochi can even be used with most smartphones. It's so simple and user-friendly that anyone from hobbyists to professionals can turn it on and put it to work, regardless of experience.
Adjust color temperature, RGB settings, and brightness from the intuitive user interface. And when it's time to add some realism and drama to your video, dial up one of the 21 built-in effects and dazzle your audience. You can mount the Oki Mochi onto a tripod or accessory arm. It's so light, you can even add several to a camera cage without weighing it down.
RGB LED On-Camera Light
This much power and versatility isn't usually found in a light this size. Compact and lightweight, the Oki Mochi can sit quietly and inconspicuously on your camera. It can create any hue on the 360? color spectrum, as well as a color temperature selection from 2500 to 9900K.
Dimmable and Adjustable
Oki Mochi light can be dimmed from 100% to 1% to dial in and change the brightness until it's exactly right. Color temperature, hue, and saturation can all be tweaked in small increments to set the precise lighting desired. Three operating modes provide lots of lighting options and will even add a little fun or drama to your video.
CCT Mode
CCT mode lets you set the color temperature to simulate the warmth of intimate indoor lighting, bright sunshine, and everything in between. This is a perfect mode for precisely matching ambient light like daylight streaming through a window.
HSI Mode
HSI stands for hue, saturation, and intensity. HSI mode enables you to select any color on the 360? color wheel and adjust its saturation and brightness. Use color to add some fun to your shots. Light your subjects and tweak the settings for a subtle accent on hair, clothes, or background.
Effects Mode
The Oki Mochi's Effects mode is where it separates itself from the rest of the compact on-camera LEDs. Twenty-one effects are built into this light so it can realistically simulate the light ranging from a police car, to a candle, to flashing paparazzi cameras, and more.
Mounting Options
The Oki Mochi comes with a cold shoe adapter to attach it directly onto a camera. Other options are available thanks to the 1/4"-20 sockets, so you can mount it onto a ball head or directly onto a tripod.
Built-In Rechargeable Battery
The 3900mAh battery can deliver a strong beam at maximum brightness for up to 3 hours before it needs recharging. The included USB-C charging cable makes it easy to recharge the Oki Mochi almost anywhere.
