Genaray GXS-200BI Overview
The GXS-200BI 230W Bi-Color Monolight from Genaray is a powerhouse bi-color monolight that features an advanced dual COB LED chipset design. With an output of 47,701 lux, the light is powerful enough to use with a softbox with added diffusion and illuminates your subject with high-quality, flicker-free light. It boasts a CCT range of 2700 to 6500K with high SSI, so the light will deliver extremely accurate color reproduction. It can match any ambient lighting conditions or tungsten fixtures in your setup.
The GXS-200BI features intuitive onboard controls with a large, easy-to-read LED screen for simple operation. In addition to the onboard controls, the GXS-Series app provides even more options and wireless control from a Bluetooth-equipped mobile device. Control CCT and brightness for all connected lights and select between 12 customizable animated lighting effects to simulate realistic effects and add drama to your scenes. This light is great for shooting interviews and dialogue because the cooling fan is so quiet that microphones won't pick up distracting fan noise.
Bi-Color and Bright
The GXS-200BI features a dual COB array that delivers a bright 47,700 lux single-point beam without the multiple shadows that are common with LED panels. This versatile monolight makes it possible to move your light back out of the picture frame and still have plenty of output to light your subject.
Wide CCT Range
The GXS-200BI boasts a color temperature range from the 2700K warmth of a tungsten bulb to the cool and bright 6500K daylight. Select the color temperature in 100 K increments and match your other light fixtures, or match the ambient light, whether it's dawn or twilight, or sunny and overcast.
High Color Accuracy
The GXS-200BI's high SSI score of 93 means predictable color and near-perfect rendering with most cameras. Superior TLCI and CRI scores indicate the GXS-200BI delivers beautiful color renditions of skin tones and other colors.
Quiet Fan-Cooled Operation
The GXS-200BI features an ultra-quiet fan, so there will be minimal noise when recording speech or dialogue, even when using sensitive microphones.
Wireless App Control
Use the Genaray GXS app to control your GXS-200BI lights individually or all at once from a Bluetooth-equipped smartphone or tablet. The app expands your available lighting possibilities by providing the control to operate individual lights or groups. Use the app to access the light's effects mode, and it provides multiple editing features for each effect. The app is free to download for iOS and Android devices.
